Welcome to Barrengarry Basketball

We are the oldest of the original basketball conferences, originally established by NSW Country Basketball, long before their merger with Basketball NSW.


Barrengarry Conference covers an original geographic area of the south coast, the southern highlands and the southern slopes regions of NSW.


Original founding member associations include:


Batemans Bay Basketball Association, Goulburn Basketball Association, Kiama Basketball Association, Milton-Ulladulla Basketball Association, Moss Vale and Districts Basketball Association, Shoalhaven Basketball Association, and Wollondilly Basketball Association.


In 2024, Shellharbour City Basketball Association was admitted to membership status.


In addition to the member associations, a number of associations have participated in Barrengarry competitions in the past including:

Merimbula Basketball Association, Moruya Basketball Association, Illawarra Basketball Association, Sutherland and Districts Basketball Association, Camden Valley Basketball Association, Hawkesbury Basketball Association, St George Basketball Association, Springwood Basketball Association, Liverpool Basketball Association, Penrith Basketball Association, Queanbeyan Basketball Association and Basketball ACT.


In 2025, competition is occurring between:

Batemans Bay, Camden Valley, Goulburn, Kiama, Merimbula, Milton-Ulladulla, Moss Vale, Shellharbour, Shoalhaven, Sutherland and Wollondilly.

These are the costs associated with Barrengarry participation. Nominations are payable to Barrengarry. Game fees are payable to the hosting association and will be invoiced by them.

Covers court hire and referee costs

Travel, meals and accommodation if required are the responsibility of the team.
